Sterling silver Copy of Worcester Salt Company Watch Fob, Art Nouveau era beauty with flowing hair
This is a sterling silver copy of a rare antique Worcester Salt Co. watch fob. There is an image of a beautiful woman with long flowing hair on the front, blank on back. Worcester Salt Company was formed in 1894 and shipped salt from its New York mines and plant in rail cars as local freight service was less expensive than having a centralized salt plant serving the entire country. The company was purchased and absorbed by The Morton Salt Company in 1943. It measures 1 1/2’ x 1 1/2’. Examples of other available fobs show the leather key ring it includes.
